The State Institution “Establishment and Development of Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan” is one of the country’s key state institutions supporting entrepreneurship.
Who we are
Founded in 2018 on the initiative of the President
The institution was founded in 2018 on the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and works under the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan.
We contribute to the growth of small and medium business, to the rise of startups and to the country’s innovative economy. Through training, consultations, information support and mentoring the institution helps to build entrepreneurial skills, turn innovative ideas into products, create new jobs and grow sustainable companies. Young people, women and first-time entrepreneurs get particular attention.

Incubation programme
From an idea to a real business
The programme is for first-time entrepreneurs and young people with a business idea. Its aim is to help participants turn that idea into a working business. Participants go through training and receive consultations and mentoring from specialists.

Business cells at universities
Entrepreneurship starts at the student desk
A business cell is an entrepreneurship support unit at a university that works together with the institution. The cells help students and young people develop business ideas and startups, run pre-incubation and incubation programmes and select promising projects for further growth. Business cells are open at:
- Tajik National University (TNU);
- Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University (RTSU);
- Tajik State University of Finance and Economics (TSUFE);
- Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship (TIUTE);
- Tajik Technical University (TTU).
What a business cell does:

The institution is part of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan. The committee is a central body of executive power and delivers state policy in the following areas:
